Branding Yourself on Social Media

Branding Yourself on Social Media

Everything you post, do and say BRANDS YOU! Even on your personal profiles. How are you connecting with your audience?

Are you sharing tips of your trade and inspirational posts? Or maybe something about a new product launch or promotional offer.

Whatever you share, just always be conscious that everything you post, good or bad, is branding you.

I’ve gotten many sales from folks who have never liked or shared my content, but they stated they’ve seen a post that enticed them to contact me. Some have stated that they had been following me for a while before deciding to reach out.

Your content, along with cohesive visuals will help you connect with the right audience.

Stumped on what to post? I could go into a list of things, such as asking questions, posting something funny and relatable, or random memes. While those things are great to post once in a while, I often tell my clients to think about 3 things when posting.

  1. Tap into their experience. – What kind of experience does your audience currently have in relation to your industry, and what kind of experience do you want them to have? Don’t share your product or service – share the journey. Share the result.
  2. Tap into their motivation – What drives your audience? And how does your product or service keep them driven?
  3. Tap into recognition – Are your visuals, or the impression you leave on your audience strong enough, so that when they do need what you sell, they think of your company first?

Utilizing these tips will increase engagement, simply because you connect with your audience. If you’re still stuck on what to say, simply ask. But be careful about soliciting the opinions of those who are not your target audience. Make it conversational. It’s more fun that way!

Reflecting on an Incredible Opportunity: The 2018 Gold Business Connect Event

Reflecting on an Incredible Opportunity: The 2018 Gold Business Connect Event

I was truly honored to serve as a speaker at the 2018 Gold Business Connect networking event, held on Thursday, June 14th, in Manhattan. This dynamic gathering brought together business professionals eager to gain insights, make meaningful connections, and learn from industry experts across a variety of crucial topics.

The theme, “Are You Protected?”, resonated deeply with all attendees as we explored critical strategies to safeguard businesses from modern challenges. My presentation, “New Rules in Protecting Your Website and Clients’ Data,” focused on:

  • New changes that could affect how your website is viewed online
  • Regulations on handling client data
  • Practical tips to protect your website and your clients’ sensitive information

These are essential areas for businesses in our digital-first world, and it was a privilege to share actionable strategies to help entrepreneurs navigate the evolving landscape of online security and data privacy.

The event overall was a vibrant mix of learning and networking, featuring expert-led discussions on finance, marketing, branding, cybersecurity, and more. The evening included speed networking, delicious appetizers, cocktails, and an energy that only comes from being surrounded by driven, like-minded professionals.

I’m incredibly grateful to have been part of such a meaningful event. It’s always exciting to share knowledge and connect with others who are equally passionate about protecting and growing their businesses.

Stay tuned for more updates on where I’ll be speaking next—and if you’re hosting an event that aligns with branding, business growth, or data security, let’s connect!
